Mikki was so amazing to work with. I was worried about working with a designer who wouldn’t listen to my input. She listened and designed an outstanding kitchen and guest bathroom for me, guiding me when I was making some questionable decisions. Always trying to keep costs to a reasonable level, providing options and a beautiful vision for the final product. Everyone who has seen the renovations has been impressed with the design and quality of the materials. We had no idea how to achieve a tranquil house inspired by our love for nature and Japan's minimalistic style... When I found Mikki it couldn't have been a better fit! She listened to everything that inspired us and truly brought our vision to life. There is NO way I would have been able to figure out the small or BIG details to bring it all together. I was so inspired by the process that I hope to be able to work on a project with Mikki again because of what she brings to life and how fun it was! Obviously, the process takes time and it's hard but Mikki helped us when we would go through the hard times of the reno and listened to any concerns we had. We can't say enough about Mikki's creativity, interior design expertise and attention to detail. We hired her to provide design advice and to furnish and decorate our 3-bedroom condo - and to do it all in a short time frame as we were relocating across the country. After receiving our feedback as to likes/dislikes, colour choices etc., she presented the project boards with options that were so well-suited to our tastes. We appreciated her extra effort to accommodate some of our own pieces into the design such as our full-size keyboard in the office. She was quick with suggestions and honest feedback as well as responding promptly to questions/comments. Mikki provided regular budget updates and kept the project within our budget. The day of the reveal exceeded our expectations! We were blown away - a beautiful, inviting space to call home. There was much to take in - her attention to detail was not lost on us - from the candles burning, to fresh flowers and plush towels to name a few. We are so grateful to Mikki and her team!
