When I log into my ALTER design studio Pinterest account, I am continually surprised that this Sage Green powder room is by FAR our most viewed post. It's also a post where we have received questions about paint colours and product details. I thought it made sense to tell the story and share the details of our design and products we used.
This project was primarily focused on a major kitchen renovation which you can see here. When it came to the powder room, we wanted to tie it into the kitchen but also give it some personality of it's own. The faux wainscotting was a way to add some elegance without the cost of real paneling. Our talented finishing carpenter added the molding details to the lower half of the wall, leaving the drywall exposed in the center of each "panel".
We then selected a soft sage green for the upper walls and a vibrant black and white tile for the floor. The white vanity and black hardware and fixtures are repeated in the kitchen.

PAINT
Carrying the design from the kitchen into the powder room, we used the trim and door paint colour used throughout the main floor on the wainscotting and moldings - Benjamin Moore, Simply White, OC-117. We then used Benjamin Moore, Saybrook Sage, HC-114 for the upper walls. This shade of sage is a little softer than Louisburg Green, HC-113.
VANITY & HARDWARE
We are proving two options for the vanity combination, both include vanity, countertop, sink and optional hardware. The exact model we used is unfortunately no longer available from Teodor Vanities.
FAUCETS & ACCESSORIES
The Dorval Collection from Delta Faucets, provided the elegance we wanted to complete the bathroom. We are showing both single and two handle faucet options with the above vanities. There are also a number of additional bathroom accessories available in this collection.
