If you have been considering an interior design project, you may be curious how hiring an interior designer would differ from running your own project.  Here is a peek inside our process.  Every design studio works very differently. Here is a look at what we do for our clients.

 

Our whole process is framed by our values and a belief that beauty is found inside. We see you as our partners, and design for you, not our portfolio.  Our goal is to make the best version of what you love and need from your home, ensuring it’s as beautiful as possible.


1. PROJECT INITIATION

We kick off with an initial discovery call to determine if we are the right fit for your project. This phase is all about getting to know you: your goals, aesthetic preferences, and functionality needs. We use tools like LiDAR scanning to create a digital replica of your home, ensuring accurate measurements for the next steps. You will also get access to a client portal, where you can view project details, contracts, invoices, and progress.  During this phase, the budget and scope of work are fully defined and agreed upon.


2. CONCEPT DESIGN

In this phase, we start bringing your ideas to life. We enhance your floor plan for better livability, functionality, and flow. You will see mood boards, materials, and finishes, and we will present the design through 3D renderings and 360-degree views. This is your chance to ask questions, make tweaks, and ensure the design is headed in the right direction.


3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once the concept is approved, we finalize the design. Detailed drawings and specifications are created for the builder and manufacturer. Everything is up to code, and we double-check quotes to stay within budget. You will review the final details and provide any final feedback before moving forward.

4. DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION

This is when construction starts! We will manage everything; site visits, trade meetings, procurement, and coordinating deliveries. We are in constant communication with you and your team to ensure the project stays on track and everything is delivered on time. We are here to handle the logistics so you can relax and enjoy the transformation.


5. STYLING & IMPLEMENTATION

Once construction is complete, we coordinate the final styling. Furniture is delivered, set up, and styled in just a few days, creating the big reveal. You will review the styling proposal, and any items you do not love can be returned.


6. PROJECT CLOSURE & MAINTENANCE

When your project wraps up, we provide a Project Binder with all the details for the care and maintenance of your new space. This includes instructions for keeping everything in top condition.
